We were called out for a system break down in Winter 2024 and subseqently asked about potential upgrades for the client's cineam room which felt dated and wasn't getting much use. So, we went about speccing an up to date home cinema system that would delivery a big performance upgrade for the client's and be simple to operate and would include subtle lighting and control.
The project certainly delivered on all these requirements and more. The 11 channel M&K Sound dolby atmos louspeaker system is powered by discrete amplification courtesy of Marantz. 4K Projection is supplied by Epson. The Lutron RA-3 Lighting system is controlled by a Crestron Home control system from a choice of tablets or remote control.
All the clients have to do is tap "watch movie" and the projector fires up, the lights slowly dim and the movie starts. When the client needs an interval, they simply tell the Crestron Control system to raise the Lutron lighting a little and pause the movie or stream. It's so simple and easy to use.
The whole house is integrated using Crestron Home. A new TV/AV system was installed in the family room and new Sonance in-ceiling speakers discreetly placed in various rooms including the poolside.
The combination of M&K Sound Louspeakers, as used by many Hollywood mastering studios, great lighting and control systems and bright, powerful Espon projection deliveres the perfect upgrade for the clients. Add squishy sofas by Loaf and it's the perfect room for casual box set watching or a box of popcorn and the latest Hollywood movie hit.
