We have been huge fans of the REL range of subwoofers since the 1990's when REL intorduced their first range of subwoofers. REL Subwoofers are unique in offering both a Line Level (RCA and XLR depending on model) and High Level inputs which can have big benefits when integrating the subwoofer with the main loudspeakers or for use with a Hi-Fi Amplifier which lacks a dedicated subwoofer output.
S/550 delivers the speed, scale, and authority of Serie S in a more compact form. Powered by a 550-watt Pure Class D amplifier and advanced CarbonAlloy™ drivers, it brings refined dynamics and musical nuance to medium-sized rooms. Equally capable in high-end music systems or immersive theaters, S/550 proves that true performance is defined by control not size.
